Elvis Presley Discography
The official American discography of Elvis Presley starts on July 19, 1954, with the release of his first commercial single and ends in February 1978, with the release of "Unchained Melody" back with "Softly as I leave you", the final single. This was the last project that Elvis knew about which were in the planning stages prior to his death in August 16, 1977. This project also included the album "Elvis in Concert".
Without including reissues, the releases consisted of 102 singles, 30 extended play singles, 72 albums on RCA Records, 4 albums on the Pickwick budget label and 5 singles with Sun Records.
